Living with child loss is the most difficult and unnatural thing you will ever do. And you don't have to be okay.

You don't have to move on. You don't have to fix this. You don't have to find the silver lining or put a brave face on your Grief.

What you can do is learn to just be with it.

Grief comes in waves. Some days the water is calm and you can breathe. Some days a wave knocks you down before you even saw it coming. You don't have to out swim it. You don't have to get to the other shore.

You just have to learn to Ride On. One breath at a time. One wave at a time.

I'm Amy. I'm a yoga therapist. And I'm a bereaved mother. Everything here is born from living with loss, not from reading a textbook. Grief doesn’t need fixing, it needs attention.
